PSUs (Public Sector Undertakings) recruit engineering graduates from various streams/disciplines. • Civil Engineering: PSUs such as NHPC, NTPC, BHEL, and IRCON International Limited recruit civil engineering graduates.
• Mechanical Engineering: PSUs such as BHEL, ONGC, IOCL, HPCL, and GAIL recruit mechanical engineering graduates.
• Electrical Engineering: PSUs such as NTPC, PGCIL, BHEL, and HPCL recruit electrical engineering graduates.
• Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering: PSUs such as BSNL, MTNL, BEL, and HAL recruit electronics and telecommunication engineering graduates.

Eligibility for PSus exam

1. Educational Qualification: The candidate must have completed a full-time engineering degree (B.E/B.Tech) or its equivalent from a recognized university. The engineering degree must be in the relevant discipline for which the candidate is applying.
2. Age Limit:
The age limit for PSUs may vary depending on the organization. However, the general age limit for most PSUs is between 21 to 30 years. There may be relaxation in the age limit for reserved category candidates.
3. GATE Score: For some PSUs, candidates need to appear for the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) exam. The candidate must have a valid GATE score in the relevant discipline.
4. Minimum Percentage: Most PSUs have a minimum percentage requirement in the engineering degree. The minimum percentage requirement may vary from 55% to 65% for general category candidates. The minimum percentage requirement may be relaxed for reserved category candidates.
