The Junior Engineer exam is a gateway for servicing in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Quantity Surveying and Contracts for various departments/ ministries or organizations under the Government of India. This exam is held for the enrolment of candidates for Non-Gazetted i.e. Group B. It comes under level 6 of the matrix of payment of the 7Th central pay commission.

Eligibility for SSC JE Exam

• Applicant must be 30 years or below to appear in the aforesaid examination.
• Only candidates with Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Civil and electrical engineering.
