Staff selection will hold an open competitive examination for requirement to the posts of Junior Engineer (civil, mechanical, and electrical) for organization/offices of the Government of India.
The computer based examination will be conducted in two papers as paper-1 and paper-2.

Paper-1 and paper-2 will consist of objective type, multiple choice questions only. The questions will be set both in Hindi and English.
Questions in both papers will be of objective multiple choice type. There will be negative marking equal to one-fourth for paper-1 and one-third for paper-2 of the marks allotted to the question for each wrong answer.
Minimum qualifying marks in paper-1 and paper-2 are as follows:
UR – 30%, OBC/EWS – 25%, all other categories – 20%
The candidates can attempt paper-2 only after qualifying paper-1.
The candidates must attempt General engineering in both paper-1 and paper-2.
